Implant Supported Dentures
Implant supported dentures are supported by implants which are placed by a dentist or an oral surgeon. Dental implants are an artificial tooth root made of titanium that is inserted into the jaw bone. This practice is used when the patient doesn’t have any teeth in the jaw but has enough bone to support these implants.
While normal dentures rest on the gum, implant supported dentures allow the dentures to directly attach to the implants. For most, this is a more stable option. It is easier to speak and you don’t have to worry that your dentures may become loose or fall from your mouth. To schedule your appointment, give our office a call.
